Started on one bad pair of shoes
Walkwise began after our founder wore through three pairs of "performance" sneakers in a single training season. Every pair looked great in the store and fell apart on the road — thin soles, glued seams, foam that packed down after a month.
So we started making our own. No shortcuts, no filler foam, no shoe we wouldn't run in ourselves. What began as a two-person workshop is now a small team obsessed with the same question: will this still hold up on mile 400?
